This app is an unofficial fan app for watching GiantBomb videos created by a fan of the site using their publicly hosted APIs. It has a number of unique features...
1) User created filters. Watch what you want, and have it all at the tip of your fingers on the very first screen you load into. No more diving through multiple menus or navigating around trying to remember where you last saw something you were interested in. Set up your own custom carousels with content you want to watch and it'll be there when you come back always keeping you up to date. Like a show but it isn't a real "show" like pokemonday night combat? Simply create a carousel, create a new name filter with "pokemonday" as the text and now you'll get all the episodes of pokemonday night combat in a single carousel. Have a favorite pair of hosts that you love to watch? Create a custom carousel and apply a cast filter with the cast you like to see. The possibilities aren't limitless, in fact they are pretty basic at this point, but more are coming and if you have one(s) you'd love to see just email me or find my thread on GiantBomb.com in the general discussion and let me know.
2) Watch up to 4 videos at once. Tired of having to either hear/watch a playdate twice (or thrice, or ... frice?) or just plain missing out on the videos because you don't want to rehear/rewatch the same action again from a slightly different perspective? Well now you don't have to, you can select up to 4 videos to watch simultaneously so you can keep track of the all the content all at the same time as it happens.
3) Keep track of what you watch. Plenty of apps have started to do this, but it's a core feature of this app. Keep track of hundreds of your watched videos as you use the app and pick up right where you left off as soon as you open the app. Tired of only seeing the last 20 videos you've watched? So was I, so this will locally store and keep track of hundreds of your past watched videos. The more you use the app the longer back you can view your history.
4) If you can dream it... I can, maybe? incorporate it. I'm always open to feedback and would love to hear yours. I can't guarantee any of your ideas or suggestions will become reality, I am just one man doing it on the side, but if the idea is great enough it just might make it in.
Plus all the other stand stuff you'd expect, watch what's live, view shows, watchlist, etc etc. Some things are missing and some might never make it in; I wanted an app that would quickly let me find and watch what I wanted and so that's what I built. And then someone said 4 videos at once and I liked that too (Jetlag!). Hope you all enjoy the app and thanks for checking it out!
